Over the past year and a half or so, I began exploring
various modes of creating art. Collage has been a
favored medium and on this site, thus far, I am proud
to display random pieces that I have selected to share.
Initially, this site began with color studies and sketches,
but I've started to add larger works. Some of the pieces
have a little story behind them while others were
composed according to mood and feeling.
Though, to tell you a little more about me,my creative
background dates years back; however, I began creating
professionally in 2002. I have a BFA in Graphic Design. I
lean toward Cubism in creating and there is no one artist
who inspires me. Everything and everyone spark the
imagination but my favored subjects are familial
narratives and humor. I have an affinity toward portraying
dominant female figures in my work. They are the stuff
from which I came; their kitchen table talk , antics and
imperfections shaped my creative spirit. They can never
imagine how much.Movement, both internal and external,
is the guiding force, otherwise. Life is never stagnant and
I strive to capture the vibrancy of it through my concepts
and creative process.
